We loved this hotel from top to bottom: the beautifully-styled and comfortable room, the spacious and elegant bar, the light and attractive restaurant (we ate twice in La Brasserie), the excellent dinners and breakfast, the great sauna and spa complex and the extensive gardens which you can wander round and enjoy. The staff were all charming and helpful, with a 'can do' attitude. We also loved the way the enchanted forest theme is brought into the hotel. It made our view from the room, looking through trees, even more entrancing. We can't wait to go back.

Lovely location - host provided location details or it would have been slightly difficult to find. Lovely room, gardens and spa facilities although we did not use the spa facilities on this particular visit. Breakfast very good and property is lovely and quiet with excellent host.

A beautiful Manoir situated in a remote location 1.5 kilometres from Rochefort-en-Terre. Renovated with great attention to detail, retaining many old features, including the 500 year old wooden staircase in the tower. The rooms, decorated with taste and attention to detail, have a unique atmosphere and the mattresses on the beds are a masterpiece. The lovely owner, for whom this place is a passion serves wonderful Breton breakfasts in the garden. If you're looking for beautiful, boutique places in Brittany, you don't have to anymore, this is exactly what you're looking for, and we'll definitely be back. It really is worth it, if only for one night, although you will certainly want to stay longer.

Mercier de Montigny - Les Chambres du Beffroi - SPA et Massage ligt in Fougères, op 46 km van Scriptorial d'Avranches, Musée des Manuscrits du Mont Saint-Michel en 46 km van Abdij van Mont... Authentiek , historisch pand. Prachtig ingericht, zeer stijlvol en esthetisch mooi ( de houten vloer, de wandbekleding, de meubels....). Onze kamer had een weergaloos uitzicht op het kasteel. Origineel en bijzonder lekker ontbijt.

Zeer aardig personeel, heerlijk bed, zitje om buiten te zitten, genoeg opbergruimte, hond mag mee, wel tegen een super hoge meerprijs€30,- per nacht.

Enthusiasm and sincerity of the host was fabulous. Sandra was always there for us; a friend, indeed. Her garden is a gem -- quite large for a back yard; varied; beautifully maintained. and we were able to sit outside and enjoy a snack and some wine with no one else around. Truly one of a kind accommodation. Highly recommended.
