The staff was the friendliest I have ever experienced. Every person was so kind and helpful. The room was beyond my expectations - impeccably clean. Outstanding shower and bathroom. Inside parking. Excessive breakfast choices.

Boasting garden views, G7 Loft SPA & Terrasse centre Angouleme features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 3.1 km from Hirondelle Golf Course. One of the best experiences! I loved the apartment, the little terrace, the spa bath, the furnishings, the entrance hall and so on. The location is perfect for the town centre and easy to get to the restaurant area on foot. Parking is also easy and very possibly just outside or nearby the apartment building. I'll definitely be back when I've finished travelling.

Situated in Lesterps, Villa TagiBao avec Piscine chauffée et Spa features accommodation with a private pool and pool views. The property is set on a large private plot which was totally fenced in giving us peace of mind for our dog to explore. The outside space is well maintained with a lovely variety of trees/plants with seating areas near the house and in the pool (not heated) area, all set in very quiet surroundings just outside Lesterps. Thierry was a good communicator and has furnished the property to a high standard from the bathroom and kitchen fittings to the comfortable mattresses and bedding. The property was very clean and was obviously cared for. The goats are friendly especially when giving them treats! Confolens is a pretty town 15mins drive and Limoges 45mins. All members of our party of eight would be happy to visit again.

Boasting pool with a view and views of garden, 1854 Chassors is a holiday home set in a historic building in Chassors, 40 km from Saintes Train Station. We stayed in many beautiful holiday homes over the years, but this gîte truly stands out as the most complete we've ever experienced: the property has absolutely everything you could possibly need and more! From the fantastic swimming pool and a fully equipped gym to a football field and pétanque court, there was no shortage of activities to keep our family entertained! A real highlight was the wonderful hospitality of Kev and Barb: their warm welcome made us feel right at home, and the daily delivery of fresh croissants was such a lovely touch! The surrounding area is also fantastic for cycling, and we especially appreciated the route (between the Cognac vineyards!) Kev mapped out for our sporty kids – it was perfect for them😉 Overall, our stay was absolutely fantastic!

Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Le Grillage a Poules is set in Gensac-la-Pallue, 33 km from Saintes Train Station and 33 km from Abbaye aux Dames. Charming, very helpful and accommodating host, easy car access, parking available next to the ground floor room. Good wifi. In a separate building a large kitchen dining room was available to prepare drinks and simple meals if required. Very Good breakfast.

Great location, amazing restaurant and brasserie. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms and facilities are simply top of the range. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
