Sophie gave us such a warm welcome to her beautiful place. It has stunning views, spotless rooms that were beautifully decorated and a lovely space to relax after your journey. Sophie offered to cook for us, so we shared a delicious dinner and breakfast together. The food was delicious and the hospitality was exceptional. We all left feeling very happy. We cannot recommend it highly enough. We’d love to come back.

The hotel is situated on the top of a hill, with a panoramic view - roughly south - out over the countryside. The town centre of Aubenas is about 2.5 km away by car and takes less than 10 minutes to reach. It would be possible to walk into Aubenas (about 1.5 km), but due to the traffic and weather conditions we decided to drive. We found a parking space in the town in the evening without a problem. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated, and the hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The view from our room was lovely, looking out towards Aubenas and the Chateau, and the breakfast room has a similar view. The hotel has ample parking space, and also an outdoor swimming pool which unfortunately we didn't have time to use. The bedroom and integrated bathroom were both roomy and well designed, and the shower was wonderful! All in all a lovely experience for us and we were only sorry that we couldn't stay longer.
