It has amazing views and is a great spot to have a drink/dinner and look at the ocean. The room was big, with a big, full bathroom. Each floor has a wonderful pantry where guests can help themselves to snacks - cakes, crisps, fun old fashioned lollies. Wonderful.

The place was lovely, clean and private. Although there are other accommodations nearby you dont notice them at all and we felt very secluded it was a superb stay, the space, fire and hot tub were just perfect. The bed was comfy and spacious we wish we had stayed longer! Thank you :)

The Spa Hotel is an elegant country mansion just a 15-minute walk from Tunbridge Wells Rail Station. It is set in 14 acres of gardens and parkland. It was a most enjoyable stay in a hotel that was much better than I expected. The staff were amazing and I was particularly grateful to be spontaneously offered a room upgrade on arrival.

Thanington Hotel is a charming 18th-century property with an indoor swimming pool, spa and free Wi-Fi. Canterbury town centre and cathedral are a 15-minute walk away. Comfortable, spacious room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Early check-in time. We didn’t use the pool and garden but they looked lovely.
