The property is lovely. Plenty of space with seats outdoors. The indoor atmosphere is relaxing. Great choice of food at breakfast time. We had an evening meal and the food was delicious. Free access to the swimming pool and jacuzzi filled in the afternoon.

The location is perfect, just a short five minute walk into Matlock Bath/local walks. We booked breakfast and it was good quality food. Me and my Wife booked treatments (my first time) at The Spa and I’ve never felt so relaxed. We will definitely stay here again!

The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff made our 3 day stay feel so comfortable. The grounds are amazing, and the walk through the forest was delightful. Seeing the peacocks with their babies wandering around was a wonderful experience. The food was great. Breakfast was excellent. One rooms had been upgraded, and mine was palatial with great views. I didn't use the spa facilities, but my daughter did, and she said they were excellent.

I liked the double room first. Bathroom was amazing Spa was lovely and relaxing.breakfast was so tasty and so much choice.room on the 5th was more bigger and had a smashing view on the town. Location was brilliant everything close by.fountains and the garden in front of the hotel was lovely especially by night. Staff and reception was friendly and helpful.i liked the lift its was card free no need to scan everytime u wen up and down.

The room was excellent with views over the moor, a comfortable four poster with a very spacious on-suite. We had breakfast on two mornings, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. We were able to chop and change things on the menu and the food we had was excellent. Had one evening meal and again as above really. Staff were friendly and very helpful. While there, my wife booked a spa treatment for a massage and again everything was done with the upmost care and attention.

This hotel has a swimming pool, sauna, steam room which is handy for relaxing in when you have some spare time. Also have a gym which was busy but I didn't use as very busy.

Location is great, plenty of parking, established trees, flowerbeds, grass. Room was spacious with coffee maker, teas etc. Bathroom clean, toiletries provided, large white towels, bath robe, slippers. Swimming pool was lovely with a lane marked off for us swimmers. Sauna and steam room were lovely to relax in. Good changing rooms with Showers warm and clean with shower gel and hairdryers. Breakfast oat drink provided as a milk alternative. Near bus stops and train station.
