The hotel is impeccable, staff is well trained and professional despite being young. The location is quiet, you can relax very well. Great (heated) indoor pools! Excellent breakfast as well.

Room is nice, very clean, climatised, bed was very comfortable. Staff is nice and helpful, breakfast was really good. I got some plant-based milk for my coffee when I asked :) There is also a nice terrace where you can just chill and relax.

Situated in Alsóörs, Hotel Mayer is set on the foot of Bakony Hills and it offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony or terrace and an outdoor pool with a bar. It was our second time visit in this cosy family hotel. And again was everything spot on. You can find everything for a short break or a long stay. Nice clean rooms, smiley and wiling staff, on-site restaurant with classic Hungarian cuisine, lovely pool and the best thing - pool bar. Tasty and reach breakfast, various options of meat, sausages, vegetables, pastries. I loved "lecsó" :) Free parking but a little bit hidden in the village, what on the other side guarantees a calm sleep with opened windows :) Few miles by car from beaches in Balatonfured and county city Veszprem (shops, restaurants, ZOO...). Bonus: We were offered for the same price a bigger room as we booked, so we enjoyed the holiday even better as we could. We will come back soon!
