Extraordinary place!! Excellent location kn a huge parc with serene trees and plants, nice temperature! You don’t need AC in the night! The food is excellent!! I can only highly recommend the Royal Malioboro when staying in Yogyakarta! The room is great, the staff are very friendly and the facilities are excellent. The breakfast was also one of the best I have had with a good mix of Indonesian, Javanese and western food. Being directly off Malioboro Street you also stay in the center of town with all sights at your doorstep. I can’t wait to go back.

Room was comfortable and cool in temperature. The courtyard area is stunning. A peaceful place away from the traffic. Manager and staff is super friendly and attentive. Location is good, near Sultan's Palace. Everything else is just a short Grab ride away. Highly recommended!

This would be the third time here and I was again very happy and impressed with the services provided by the whole team. Of course I met again with Ms Hana and the same conceirge team who helped me sending a parcel. The breakfast and sahoor was great and yummy. Theres a birthday wishes on the wall for my daughter so it was happy moments. The hotel team came over with a birthday cake as well. We truly appreciate it. The checkout time was extended since our flight was at night and the team was very accommodating.

Style, decoration, staff and location are some of the best features of this hotel. We were transiting in Jakarta and chose The Orient solely because it was near the MRT Station and Benhil. Haven't heard of it before, nor my friends in Jakarta. We thought there are actually only appartements here. As we arrived, the staff were very friendly. Upgraded us to one of the most spacious hotel rooms in Jakarta we have ever seen :). He showed as around and explain about all the facilities (Pools, Bars, Restaurtant, Library, Gym, etc). There is pool on 5th floor and then another one on the rooftop which also host a jacuzzi. Rooftop bar has some of the best view of Jakarta skyline and drinks+snacks are also great. The comfortable room was nicely decorated, nice amenities and the matress was great! Breakfast menu+buffet is one of the best :). We really liked the hotel that on the way back, we went to The Orient again, and cancel our booking on another hotel!
