The breakfast buffet is a great spread, the staff are attentive and remember you, and gym also has a lot of good facilities. The rooms are charming with a good view. Overall a great stay. Ps for those who do not know Sudirman has a car free day on Sunday mornings so cabs cannot come to the hotel. Would recommend getting a grab bike or walking out of the area before ordering a grab!

At The Orient Jakarta, a Royal Hideaway Hotel guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The hotel is so beautifully designed. We stayed in a grand deluxe room and it was spectacular. The views from our room was just wow! Pool on level 5 is great. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was amazing with lots of options. We met the general manager, Sebastian, when we accidentally stumbled unto a wrong floor. He was so welcoming and told us about the designer of the hotel. Definitely one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. This will be our go to in Jakarta from now on.
