This palace hotel, a reincarnation of the royal mahals of Jaipur, is located in tranquil environs away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Leela Palace is, by definition, a MAJESTIC place. Architecture, ornamentation, the gardens, the pool, everything puts you in a Maharaja era, place and feeling. Food was royal, as you would expect. As for the Staff, for three days, I can't remember having passed by ANYONE (even the gardeners on their lawns, the janitors around the pool, the musicians at their instruments,...) who would not stop his work just to greet you with the beautiful hand joining Namaste. Again, one head above all : Mrs Diksha, the Housekeeping Manager, whose kindness, attention & helpfulness dazzled both my wife & me.
