Great stay for our 1st night on arrival into Iceland. Check in was super easy and relaxed. The room was spacious and well appointed. Dinner menu was great and we ended up ordering the burger which was amazing. Breakfast included is always a bonus and has a wide variety of food to cater for all needs.
Everything perfect - location is close to the airport so ideal for beginning or end of your Iceland trip. The cabin doesn't have too much space but for two adult and a child it's quite nice. There's everything you need for cooking and the hot tub is just perfect for relaxing while listening to the sounds of the seaside.
I've never seen anything like the living space (incl. kitchen) where we had our breakfast. Very cosy and space where you can have a coffee, eat, and rest a bit before/after heading round-the-island ;) And the hot tub was a blast! Hot water coming from below continuously <3
You rarely find such a cozy and warm Hotel, the welcome was very friendly and pur room was great. Spaceful and very City and relaxing. As we needed to leave at 4:15 a.m. they prepared a lunch Box for us as we couldn‘t use breakfast in the Hotel.
lovely design, warm cosy log cabin feeling all around. nice open areas in the lounge, and rooms are spacious with great views. pool table, darts, bar, or a stroll over to the lighthouse will satisfy those who need to keep busy. For those who just want to relax the views, seating and chilled atmosphere are great. staff were very helpful and all with a genuine smile. breakfast buffet is really good, you will not go hungry at this place! close to the airport but you do not get the airplane noise at all.
We had previously stayed in Hella experiencing what Iceland has to offer and it was amazing. As it was a belated honeymoon we thought we'd stay a couple days at the retreat to experience what it had to offer. Unfortunately the only thing we liked was the staff, room & cleanliness. The hotel was decorated well and looked nice. The private spa lagoon was a nice intimate touch for relaxing away from the blue lagoon crowd. The breakfast was nice and was hosted in the main lobby. You also get an additional Afternoon tea experience.
