The service was outstanding, the staff incredibly helpful, and the cave pool was just breathtaking—my friend Pete especially loved the statues surrounding it. The togas, rituals, and attention to detail made the whole visit immersive and memorable. I also recommend booking an Ape Car tour through the front desk when you arrive—it’s the perfect way to explore Matera. Plus, if you call ahead, they’ll even arrange a pickup from the bus station, which is really convenient.

There is just a few stairs down but we had backpacks and 1 cabin troller. So it wasn’t any trouble at all. The room is specious and clean. Amazing view from the balcony! The breakfast is nice. And the hostesses are very welcoming and helpful! The floor is stone and there is no sleepers, but pair of socks solve everything ;).
