Fukui Manten Hotel Ekimae is set in Fukui, 3.7 km from Fukui Prefecture Industrial Hall and 16 km from Eiheiji Temple. Location was perfect, both for train travel and evening meals. Also having a laundry was great.

Conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from JR Tsuruga Train Station, Tsuruga Manten Hotel Ekimae features large public baths, a breakfast buffet serving a variety of dishes and a business centre... 🏨 Stayed at the hotel for a short while. The staff was good, and it was possible to leave luggage for a short while. 📍 It's located extremely conveniently, just outside JR Tsuruga station. There are convenience stores and places to eat nearby, and overall all of places of interest are reachable by foot from the hotel. 🚪 The room was neat, with enough space for an open large suitcase. I'd especially like to comment on a great work chair by the desk. In my case there also was a microwave just by the door in the corridor. 🧺 There are two washer-dryer sets, with detergent automatically added, 300¥ per washing cycle, and 100¥ per 30 minute drying cycle. ♨️ There's a public bath at the premise, and in the evening the common area used for breakfast in the morning features free ramen, but both I have not tried. 🍱 Breakfast was good, with Western and Japanese options and a few buffet options, and it's possible to begin breakfast as late as 9-30.

Located 18 km from Phoenix Plaza, Grandia Housen offers 4-star accommodation in Awara and features a spa and wellness centre, an open-air bath and a garden. Japan hospitality at its best. Food was good. Lounge was good. Food was good. Nothing to complain. Only thing if they have coin laundry will do wonders for me.

We will be revising our breakfast rates from Monday, June 23, 2025. Advance rate: Changed from 1,400 yen to 1,500 yen. Its a little small for two people but still cozy. You are able to use the washing machine and dryer at the onsen floor (forgot which floor), quite convenient.
