Location was close to the bus and train station and it is building is quiet modern. Convenience store close by and the old town was in walking distance. The room size was decent for a Japanese hotels and the Onsen bath on the top floor including the sauna was really nice - it has a shared relaxing area as well.

The best location ever - next to JR station and Nohi Bus Station. Imagine you can reach your room immediately after getting off the train or bus journey. It is only 10 mins walk from the Old Town. A new hotel that exceeded my expectation. Very clean & comfortable. Do try the dinner buffer set; it is so worth it and delectable. There is a private bath option too which is payable (rather affordable) and it is a first-come-first-serve basis. I would highly recommend to all to stay here.

Easy to get to from the station even in the snow - this property was quiet, clean, so comfortable - and the onsite onsen was fantastic. Loved the welcome drinks each day, and the overall feel of the hotel was fabulous. The views from the 7th floor lounge are breathtaking - and we would book here again in a heartbeat!

Ideally located if you're planning on taking the Shinhotaka ropeway (as moving around the villages can be hard without a car as you have to follow the bus timetable), the place is set on giving you the best experience for a relaxing stay by the mountain. The room was superb, diner was great and the onsen is cherry on the cake. Relaxing in a hot spring outside in the cold with snowflakes running around while contemplating the snowy mountains around really makes a magical moment

Hotel Ryu Resort and Spa se nahaja ob slikovitih gozdnih površinah v mirnem visokogorskem predelu vasi Shokawa, 50 min vožnje z avtomobilom ali brezplačnim avtobusom od železniške postaje JR Takayama.... Staff were attentive, food was good and the open air onsen made the experience very memorable. They also had kids Yukata and a small play area.

Only a 1-minute walk from the Ogaki Train Station, APA Hotel Ogaki Ekimae offers modern accommodations with free wired internet access in all room. I liked a lot the location, very close to the station so easy to move to cities around like Gifu.
