Located in Otari and with Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable within 2.3 km, 椛 Momiji features ski-to-door access, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. This was one of the best ski holidays we have been on. The hotel was beautiful - amazing décor, comfortable room, great private onsen and shared spaces, most delicious food (English breakfast and mostly Japanese dinner), helpful staff. The location is really on the slopes of Norikura (which is linked to Cortina), and an easy walk to the shuttle bus for access to the rest of the Hakuba resorts. Hotel provides pick up and drop off from local train/bus stations, so we really didn't need to rent a car. We opted for the half board option and just really relaxed and enjoyed skiing and chilling in the hotel.

They offered warm and cozy place to stay during our snowboard trips, What we love are Japanese Style Private Bath and Free Flow Sake and Local Wine. Staff are really nice.

The daily morning breakfasts delivered to our room were truly a treat—delicious, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to start each day before heading out to explore Hakuba. Without a doubt, this is the best spot to stay in Hakuba. The room was fantastic. I stay at about 20 hotels every year around the world and this is the first hotel I’ve stopped to write a review since the service was so fantastic. We stayed here for 4 days skiing around the local area. I would 100% recommend this place to family and friends!

Offering rooms with a yukata robe, green tea and mountain views, Hotel Ougiya is 5 minutes from Hakuba Happo-One Ski Field on the free shuttle. I enjoyed so much the stay, the breakfast and the onsen particularly and the staff super nice!

Hakuba Mominoki Hotel is located between snow peaks in Hakuba Valley, a 5-minute drive from Hakuba Station. The 4-star hotel offers an outdoor natural hot-spring bath, free Wi-Fi and 3 restaurants. The grounds of the property are gorgeous, lots of trees. The rooms are good sized and comfortable. Lots of options on the breakfast. I love the kimonos the leave for us to use. The staff speak English very well which is always helpful

Located in Hakuba, within 11 km of Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area and 42 km of Nagano Station, ラタトゥイユ provides accommodation with ski-to-door access as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The hosts were all very lovely, short walk into echo land and bus stops to all the mountains within a couple hundred metres etc

Situated in Iida, 33 km from Muku Hatoju Memorial Museum, Shirabiso Kogen Amanogawa features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a spa and wellness centre.

Set in Hakuba and only 13 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Garden Pension Obergurgl offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Extremely accomodating and friendly staff, went above and beyond expectations. The bath was a wonderful bonus after a long day on the mountain. 5 min walk to Hakuba Goryu.

Situated in Hakuba, 9 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Petit Hotel Shitaka features accommodation with ski-to-door access, free private parking and a spa and wellness centre. Stayed 4 nights leading up to new years for a family ski trip. Rooms are a little outdated but well kept, bathrooms are private (huge plus over shared options around the area, good soaking tub), good ski in/out access to Happo one report (right next to Shirakaba 2 lift, can ski downhill a bit to reach Gondola), decent public bath with hot dry sauna. Very friendly staff.
