After a lot of hectic cities, we came to a full relaxation after the complimentary footbaths, private onsen, 5 course dinner specially adjusted for my pregnant wife. Looking out to sea from the room, a tiny tori gate in the distance. It was like heaven.

Rooms at Hiroshima-Ekimae Ohashi APA Hotel comes with a flat-screen TV with BBC news, a fridge and an electric kettle. Each room has an original mattress optimising weight distribution and a private bathroom with a high-tech toilet and a hairdryer. Location was very good. Room was very large and the beds very comfortable. There was a convenience store directly accessible from within the hotel.

The breakfast has a large variety of food, the staff speaks English almost fluently, the location is amazing (at the train center of Hiroshima). The rooms were big and comfortable.

The hotel also provides a business centre, travel desk and concierge services. Fabulous location by the sea. We wanted somewhere away from the Hiroshima city downtown and this ticked all the boxes. There’s a really nice seaside coast trail between the hotel and Hiroshima port- perfect for an early morning stroll or jog.

Amazing dinners included, multiple course Japanese meal. Breakfast is also in included and delicious. Staff is as good as it gets and the shuttle is a real bonus- note that it does come to the train station and May align with your arrival. We walked from the train, it took about 20 minutes. We had a perfect view of the Torii gate from our room- spectacular.
