Loved: ease of getting there - it’s very close to the main station, very nice and friendly staff, delicious and abundant food, very clean and large public onsen and private onsen overlooking the river, very authentic Japanese room with comfortable mats, cleanliness, etc.

Opened in 1878, The Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. The well-preserved building itself was impressive, and I expect it will be a memorable stay. The facilities are all clean and well-maintained.

This place is so special. I stayed in the junior suite with a view of the beach and お富士様 and did not want to leave. It was so beautiful. The staff are wonderful. They go the extra mile to help and assist you. A staff member even drove me to a convenience store and helped me complete the forms to transfer my luggage to the next hotel. The bed is large and comfortable. The linen is great, Lots of pillows. The breakfast delivery to my room every morning was perfect to eat on my balcony watching the world. The tea/coffee maker was great as well The toiletries and complimentary drinks were so thoughtful.

This brand new hotel is one of the best experiences I had in Japan. Great location at Yokohama. We can see Mt. Fuji from our room. The room is clean and spacious. The electric blind is excellent. Woke up, pressed the button and you can see Mt. Fuji on your bed!

Located in Hakone, 1.7 km from Hakone Gora Park, gran terrace Le Lien Hakone provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a garden and a spa and wellness centre. We stayed in a Japanese traditional room. It was comfortable, the staff was very kind and always available and willing to help. Diner was amazing. We loved the salad. I’m very curious about the salad iced dressing recipe. It’s something I would try at home to impress my friends with. 😍 Thank you for everything!

Staff was friendly. Distance to shops is reasonable.

Ideally located in Yokohama, The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama, open from September 2020, offers lavishly-decorated air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. Beautiful hotel room gorgeous, breakfast was out of this world.
