Hakone Suimeiso is located a 3-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station and a 15-minute walk from Sounji Temple. It offers public hot-spring baths, free parking on site and free Wi-Fi access. An absolutely fantastic experience, especially sharing it with my girlfriend! Hakone’s landscapes are stunningly beautiful and unspoiled by modernity, truly living up to every fantasy I’ve ever had of the rural Japanese countryside depicted in anime. After a long, tiring day of walking, we unwound at the hotel with an exquisite kaiseki meal—such a perfect way to refuel. An hour or so after dinner, we used our reservation for a private onsen, and it was an incredible experience. Even though the night air was a little crisp, the water temperature was absolutely ideal, warming us right up. I rinsed off all the day’s sweat first, then sank into the hot spring, and all the fatigue from our travels simply melted away. If we get the chance to visit again and have more time, I’d love to book the private bath for the daytime to soak while taking in the breathtaking natural scenery around us.

Super fun room with 360 projections surround sound. Excellent bathroom features. A superb breakfast each day within own room. Staff excellent, friendly and 100% welcoming and helpful. Would stay again.

8.3 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station in Hakone, Hakone Gora KARAKU offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and spa facilities. A very nice big hotel room with a nice shower and we had a private outdoors onsen which was perfectly sized, heated, and with an aesthetic view.

The Westin Yokohama features a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Yokohama. This 5-star hotel offers a bar. Clean, spacious, good quality of amenities plus food etc. staff very friendly and polite.

InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8:n mukavuuksiin kuuluu ravintola, yksityinen pysäköintimahdollisuus, baari ja puutarha. Se sijaitsee Yokohamassa 1,9 km:n päässä Yokohama Marine Tower -tornilta. The room was clean, some drinks were complementary which was great. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The view was beautiful. Tv offered some channels in both English and Japanese. Staff was friendly. Distance to shops is reasonable.

Situated in Hakone, 10 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Honbako 箱根本箱 features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a spa and wellness centre. We did not expect to have such a culinary experience as this hotel, it was a journey through Tokaido, its history and culinary delights.By far the best food we had compared to the 2 other onsens we stayed at on our trip! The wine list is great with some natural wine and good champagne and sake. Thank you so much to the sommelier! The vibe of the place is super chill and absolutely love the books collection and all the nice nooks where you can relax and read! Location is great if you don t have a car, it s only a 10 min walk from the funicular which also takes you up one stopto the gondola to see mount Fuji and lake Ashi. This place is a must try if you go to Hakone!
