Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Breakfast was super good (variety and quality). All staff was very attentive and caring. Onsen was really nice and relaxing.

In the heart of the Minato-Mirai area, just a minute's walk from Minato-Mirai Station, The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu offers spacious rooms with a balcony, spectacular views of Minato-Mirai and free... The view outside of the room is very nice. The location is at the shopping mall and is very convenient. The staffs are also very friendly and helpful.

Hakone Suimeiso is located a 3-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station and a 15-minute walk from Sounji Temple. It offers public hot-spring baths, free parking on site and free Wi-Fi access. A truly traditional Japanese hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. Every detail of the property reflects authentic Japanese character. We loved the room’s lighting and design, but the highlight was the balcony overlooking the river—the sound of the flowing water was incredibly peaceful. The staff were exceptionally polite and hospitable. The traditional Japanese meals provided were delicious and offered a great cultural experience.

Opened in 1878, The Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. I really liked the historical architecture and being able to stay in it. It was a pleasure to also dine in the beautiful main restaurant. I also liked having a walk in shower.

Set in Fujisawa, within 1.4 km of Katase Higashihama Beach and 10 km of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, BREATH HOTEL offers accommodation with free bikes and free WiFi throughout the property as well as... Great beachfront location, very courteous staff, exceptionally clean, and good breakfast. Overall, a very generous hotel.

8.3 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station in Hakone, Hakone Gora KARAKU offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and spa facilities. The warm welcome started outside the hotel, the open lounge for any need, the private onsen, the Japanese meals, the high quality of the soaps, the kimonos, the room dress.

The Westin Yokohama features a fitness centre, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Yokohama. This 5-star hotel offers a bar. There's absolutely nothing to dislike about The Westin Yokohama. The staff are phenomenal. The included breakfast is delectable, and the dinner at any of the restaurants is artful and savory. My room is spacious with everything I would need and has an amazing view of the city and port. Aya Enomoto, who performed my deep tissue massage and facial, is a master of her craft. I have had many massages and facials before, but the one I received from her was amazing! This place was home away from home for a few days, and above all, it really did feel "heavenly." Thank you so much for providing exceptional quality and care to make my first time in Japan more memorable. Wonderful people work here. ❤️

InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8:n mukavuuksiin kuuluu ravintola, yksityinen pysäköintimahdollisuus, baari ja puutarha. Se sijaitsee Yokohamassa 1,9 km:n päässä Yokohama Marine Tower -tornilta. This is a top-notch, stylish, and comfortable hotel. Our room was large, and most had an unobstructed sea view. The bed was excellent, and the environment was silent. Wood panelling and carpets make the ambiance warm. I regret being too busy to explore the rest of the hotel's services.

Situated in Hakone, 10 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Honbako 箱根本箱 features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a spa and wellness centre. It was exactly as in the photos, a book-lover’s dream, so peaceful and serene. The armchairs were comfortable and perfect for reading. The private onsen was great. I was afraid the outdoor shower would feel too cold (we’re from the tropics), but it was fine. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. I appreciated the explanations given for the 10-course dinner. The servings may seem small but it was just right for a tasting menu and was filling. And I must repeat that the food was really good. I also appreciated the help provided to us to get a taxi to go to Gotemba (we had big luggages and I was recovering from a sprained ankle). It wasn’t easy to get taxis, but they kept trying and were able to get one for us. There was also a nice shop with artisan goods among books and writing paraphernalia.
