Featuring a fitness centre, bar and views of river, Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport is set in Tokyo and connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3. The breakfast was superb. It was a great bonus to have the use of the onsen and the gym. Staff were exceptional.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Loved the room & overall hotel facilities. I have lost my backpack; left it on the bus from hakone-yumoto stn to tenyu stn. The staff was very kind and helped me find the backpack by contacting the bus company. I appreciated it so much. Also 2 public bath were amazing!!! Would love to go back!

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. The breakfast buffet and the staff escorting and carrying our luggage to the exact place on the platform where we boarded our Shinkansen car. We did not request this service it was just offered. Service was wonderful.

町住客室 秩父宿 provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 46 km of Kumagaya Rugby Stadium and 400 metres of Chichibu Shrine. We stayed here one night and it was the best decision ever. While it is expensive, it is worth every yen, the rooms were beautiful, service impeccable, free amenities, free private sauna, and traditional breakfast brought straight to your room. It was perfect for a night after a hike down from Mitsumine shrine in the rain and thunder. HIGHLY recommend!! Thanks a lot
