Featuring a fitness centre, bar and views of river, Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport is set in Tokyo and connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3. For an airport hotel this is pretty special. The onsen on roof is great. You can also go there from the cheaper Villa Fontaine (non-Premier) next door but I believe there is some kind of charge. The location is super because it's attached to a part of the aiport with lots of restaurants so plenty of options for supper if you don't fancy going far.

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. Hotel amazing and the staff very nice! Good onsen and very peaceful stay. We regret not staying more. Breakfast was very good! Room very clean and beautiful.

The location is just near to the train station, the room is well maintained, big and clean. The hotel staff are friendly and can speak good English.

It's a little like stepping back in time to the old Edo era. It's a traditional Japanese styled like home. It's walkable from the train station, our room was fantastic and comfortable. We had private access to a sauna and large soaking tub for 45 minutes which was very relaxing after a day out. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. A traditional Japanese breakfast was served in the room as well. It's a highly recommended place.
