Breakfast was huge, healthy and very tasty, a solid foundation for a day full of attractions. Coffee very good, but thats obvious in Japan, perfectly composed with fresh food, light but caloric.

Spa Sala Terrena makes it easy to unwind with a range of face and body treatments. Laundry and dry-cleaning services are also available at the Sendai Monterey. The spa was really great for casual baths. The cold spa wasn't freezing but cold enough to feel get the shivers, the baths were hot enough to stimulate the skin, the sauna was spacious enough. The free beer token and after-bath accommodations were the cherry on top. I'm very appreciative of my stay in Sendai and I think a good amount of that is because of this hotel.

This is my 2nd stay in this hotel. Breakfast has quite a wide variety of food to choose from and they are all so tasty, especially the beef tongue stew! I also like the free alcohol from 6-8pm, which you can drink to your fill. The free amenity (5pcs per pax) that you can choose per day of stay are worth the price you pay for the room, not to forget, the hotel has a onsite onsen!
