Set in Miyazaki, within less than 1 km of Kodomo-no-Kuni and 1.6 km of Aoshima Shrine, Route Inn Grantia Aoshima Taiyokaku provides a spa and wellness centre. We were on a road trip visiting the entire Kyushu Island, and we started from Kagoshima. This hotel was our second stop after much driving and site seeing. Quiet location up the hill and amongst residential houses. Sufficient parking as well. Good sizable rooms too. The rooms that we had were tatami typed with only toilets but no bath. Hence for bath and showers it was "public bath" that includes onsen. Pretty good onsen - both indoor and outdoor. During the period we were there hotel appeared to be pretty occupied with guests but as we wander about the property we don't find many people around and about, and definitely the public bath and onsen were not crowded at all. Only noted the crowd, but that too not extremely crowded, during morning breakfast. Good thing is they segregate breakfast timing to avoid overly crowded in the dinning hall. Breakfast options were with acceptable spread with offers of options able to cater to most palate.

Set in Miyazaki, 4.1 km from Miyazaki Phoenix Zoo, Phoenix Seagaia Ocean Tower offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. We enjoyed very much our stay at the Resort. The weather was terrible that days in Miyazaki, but it was not an issue as there several amenities in the resort that we used.We had almost no time to use all of them in the two nights that we spent there. We specially enjoyed the swimming pool, fitness room, the onset and the karaoke.
