Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring provides rooms in Matsumoto near Matsumoto Station and Matsumoto Castle. One of the best hotels that I’ve stayed in Japan. It’s a traditional Japanese style hotel with no shoes policy, which makes the experience even better. Super clean and spacious rooms. Amazing onsen and free soba after 9.30 PM.

Open from August 2018, featuring Mount Asama views and a single-star Michelin restaurant, Le Grand Karuizawa Hotel and Resort is located in Karuizawa. The check-in process was very smooth, friendly and professional with handover taking place in the room and she was very knowledgable. Beautiful secluded location, very good room and also onsen plus a good breakfast.

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to assist us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite being an upmarket hotel, they were still very accommodating and welcoming of our toddler and there were extra amenities for her which were appreciated. The hotel is situated in the older part of Karuizawa and is within walking distance of many beautiful attractions and restaurants/cafes. The breakfast is also excellent.

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Very tranquil atmosphere. Cozy and beautifully kept ryokan with a gorgeous outside bath available for private use. This is an especially nice place for a couple. The staff are kind and helpful and they speak English.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring area, Onyado Hishiya Torazo features Japanese-style accommodations. Beautiful traditional hotel. We received one of the warmest welcomes from our entire Japan trip. The outdoor onsen (hot spring bath) is absolutely stunning, it can be chartered privately without additional cost! You also receive a key to access all 9 public hot spring baths in town for free. Our room was comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was very tasty and plenty, I received a fully vegetarian meal on request. If you don't mind an uphill hike, you can reach the snow monkey park on foot in less than an hour from the hotel, but otherwise bus options are also available. Also only a short bus ride away from the nearest train station. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, we would love to come back one day...

Featuring a bar, 蔕 Heta Nozawa Onsen is located in Nozawa Onsen in the Nagano region, 22 km from Ryuoo Ski Park and 33 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. the spa was amazing, the family room is spacious enough for family of 5 with kids, it was clean and the location also great only 500 m to Nagasaka gondola and 600 m to downtown. we had amazing stay.

阿智星降りの宿やま星 offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 2.5 km of Achi Shrine and 4.1 km of Achi Shrine Okumiya. The hotel's room is acceptional beautiful, spaciousand cosy. The onsen is serene and privacy. There is also sauna with star gazing facilities.

Solomon was an awesome, accommodating host , Le Sauna villa was a wonderful retreat and snow conditions at Hakuba unrivalled ❄️

Featuring a restaurant and ski-to-door access, 斑尾高原どんぐり村 features accommodation in Madarao Kogen with free WiFi and mountain views. The comfort, the coziness, the cleanliness, the close proximity to the ski area, the amazing food, the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts from the minute we arrived to Liyama Station until we left. We felt that we were ‘family’ during our stay. We highly-highly recommend you to stay in one of these cottages!
