The staff was very helpful and friendly. Free drinks and even a free late night Soba was included. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was perfect.

Located in Karuizawa, Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton is situated a 6-minute walk from Kyu Karuizawa Ginza Dori shopping street. We loved this hotel within walking distance from the lovely central shopping street. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was excellent.

Located in the Shibu hot-spring area, Onyado Hishiya Torazo features Japanese-style accommodations. The ryokan is perfect and offers a unique staying experience . The on site onsens are amazing with the outdoor one being our favourite. The kaiseki meals we booked were absolutely delicious. An all around great experience.

This was our first time in Japan and wanted to go somewhere that maintained a lot of the local culture. This is that place. It feels brand new! Comfortable beds, nice private bathrooms and all the amenities you could want. We stayed in the double room on the lower level. There is a waterfall right outside the room where all night you can hear the soothing sounds of the babbling brook. It was some of the best sleep of my life with that white noise in the background. We really enjoyed the private bath/sauna every day after skiing. The main gondola is only an 8 minute walk from the room. The bar downstairs was incredible, we stopped to have a lemon sour every evening before dinner. Kazu,who manages the bar downstairs, was our favorite! He made our trip so lovely. We (as Americans) wanted coffee first thing in the morning, and when we told him that, he brought us a nespresso maker so we could have it in our room. How thoughtful and special! Also, Akari who cleans the rooms was so kind and went out of her way to speak to us and offer any assistance about places to eat, etc. This place is truly the most comfortable and amazing spot in Nozawa. I can’t say enough good things about it. Aesthetically pleasing, accommodating, and easy access to the ski resort. Absolutely amazing.

Amazing property with even more amazing staff. We stayed for two night during our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with the experience. It was an authentic yet luxurious Ryokan. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless and it even had its own onsen. The food was exceptional and the staff was very well trained and extremely friendly. Highly recommended this hotel and would love to go back on day.

Cosy home for family of 4. 6 beds in total which slot into the top floor. Because of the roof slant, you'll have to sleep with you head towards the door. In winter the shower area gets chilly. Clean and tidy home and a drive to the ski slopes. The host does however shuttle you to and fro if requested for. Dinner was excellent. Choice between BBQ or Hotpot.

It’s a perfect choice for your ski trip or exploring the area in the green season. The hotel is close to convenience store open from 10am to 20pm there are restaurant and cafes nearby. There is a big ski room, and you can dry your gears. You can buy your ski-pass with a discount directly at the holes. The owner and the staff are amazing. the breakfast is lovely. I will come back! MADARO mountain is great!
