Located right in front of Lake Kawaguchi in the Mount Fuji area, Fuji Lake Hotel offers spacious accommodations with mountain or lake views. fter the pace of Tokyo and Osaka, Fuji Lake Hotel was a refreshing and very pleasant surprise. The setting is ideal, with direct lake side access, a swimming pool, and a dedicated viewing deck for Mount Fuji. The hotel is also conveniently located within a five minute walk of local eateries and convenience stores, and the free shuttle to and from Kawaguchiko Station makes getting around easy. Service is a standout. From arrival, staff were welcoming, calm, and highly accommodating. Check in was handled in the lounge with refreshments while staff came to the guest, which immediately made the experience feel relaxed and personal. Throughout the stay, staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and willing to help. Both buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, supported by stunning lake views that elevate the entire dining experience. The onsen was exceptional and provided a peaceful space to unwind. Amenities were easy to access from the ground floor, adding to the overall convenience of the stay.

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. Everything is amazing, the staffs are well trained and genuine. I would definitely come back.

The ammenities in the room were fabulous! The outdoor/indoor patio room had a heater so it was very cozy, and the views of Mt Fuji were beautiful. The onsen was lovely, and the sauna, and the view of the mountain while sitting in either was amazing. There was free bike rental as well at the property, so we could grab a bike and ride around the whole lake. It was very easy to check in via tablet and collect our keys from the lockbox. All instructions were given prior and easy to understand. We were worried about not having a hotel concierge to ask questions, but I was able to message the property through booking.com for any queries - we sent a message to ask them to book a taxi for us and they did straight away.

Tranquil Japanese-style rooms at Beautiful Japanese Garden Kagetsu boast views of an exquisite Japanese garden, and come with personal attendant service. Very beautiful garden and relaxing onsen. The staff was very nice and helpful even if they had to use translator some interactions.

I was a bit peculiar before check in, but then after i stayed few other places and check in this one, only i found that i hit the jackpot! the house itself is big and comfortable to fit a family of five. although the bed provided is for 10 person! the shower room with the man made onsen is a BIG plus! because after one tired and cold day, it was really relaxing immersed in the in house onsen!!! my kids enjoy it every much! Hot water was hot enough! no issue! It is a single storey detached house, with designated car park just across the road. If you are not driving, the train station and few hundred meter away by walking.
