We liked everything about the resort great location beautiful beach, very nice tented villas, delicious food and the most important very good service. The General Manager Mr. Robert is a very kind and hospitable man he make sure that we had great experience in the resort. I would like to mention that there is big population of stray dogs in Sri Lanca which is heartbreaking it was impressive to see that Mr. Robert is taking care of the strayed dogs around the area “ a man with a big heart”.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel welcomes all new guests with flower necklaces and cool fruit drinks. The breakfast buffet options are numerous. We ordered a la carte lunch & dinner, and the food was always exceptional. (Note, the first night we wanted something that they didn’t have but they ordered it for the second night.) The room was ok, but all rooms come with a comfortable balcony to make up for what the room lacks. Also, the bathroom is about the same size as the room. The beach and the ocean are by far the main reason to come here. The warm ocean water is unparalleled and the hotel staff do a wonderful job keeping their section of the beach clean. The pool area is also nice, but we came for the beach and spent most of our time there. The kid space is lacking, but that’s ok as long as you aren’t there when it rains. Lastly, all the staff we encountered were professional. They helped arrange our departure taxi which actually was rather reasonably priced; meaning same price everyone seems to charge tourists 200 rupees per kilometer (rather than what locals pay which is like 120-150). Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

It was clean, well maintained and the service was impeccable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The chef cooked new styles of curries for us everyday. The beach is very clean and beautiful.

A splendid outdoor pool resides between the beach and Amaya Beach Passikudah, a resort offering spacious rooms and suites with private balconies and free WiFi. Beach was beautiful and Breakfast was great, also I purchased separately from the hotel Dinner and Lunch.

Objekt Sunrise Pasikuda smješten je u gradu 'Pasikuda', na kratkoj udaljenosti od znamenitosti Plaža Pasikuda, te nudi smještaj koji sadrži vanjski bazen, besplatno privatno parkiralište, fitness... Just an absolute tropical dream. The hotel is very beautiful and feels very relaxed to be in. The spaces are thoughtful and there are lots of places to lounge and relax so you feel like you are on a private retreat even with other guests. Our favourite part was the loungers under big beautiful native trees on the beach. They are tucked under trees but right on the water so you can swim in the ocean and then lay in the shade and drink mango juice 👌 their spot on the beach is also more peaceful and secluded than some of the other resorts. The staff were very generous and kind! We are vegan and their chef catered easily for us. They also just made the most heavenly dishes - their buffets (breakfast and dinner) are 10/10 the food was so good. We can't rate it high enough - it was a surprise favourite stop for us on our trip! Very peaceful and just what we needed.

I liked everything! My stay was superb.. I would stay longer only that I had pre-reserver another place.. The room is clean, had it's private patio, desk, private bathroom. AC worked perfectly. There is a mosquito net over the bed and mosquito net covering the bathroom window. The property is very well mentioned and staff are all so awesome. Special thanks to Ms. Jayanthy in the reception team who was so responsive to my messages. Breakfast included was delicious too. The swimming pool is nice and refreshing, lots of greenery and the restaurant is lakefront, serving delicious food and the staff are so attentive too.. The location is also few kilometers from town, yet a walking distance from Kallady Beach where you can see the fishermen and watch the sunset, small shops around if you need to buy water.. And if you happen to stay Saturday or Sunday, there is the bridge market.. Overall, an amazing stay. 100% would repeat it and stay longer. Thank you :)
