Situated in Kalkudah, Sun Siyam Pasikudah offers peaceful and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access. Our stay at Sun Siyam Pasikudah was simply amazing. The staff were incredibly attentive, at times it felt like they intuitively knew what we needed before we even asked. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience unforgettable, though we did notice that communication in english could be improved slightly. The beach is beautiful and peaceful, with great amenities and stunning views. However, due to broken coral in some areas, it's not ideal for swimming right in front of the resort. They do provide sea shoes, which are really helpful. Just a short 100 meter walk along the shore brings you to clearer, safer spots perfect for a dip. The massages at the spa were excellent and the poolside drinks were among the best we've ever had.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel welcomes all new guests with flower necklaces and cool fruit drinks. The breakfast buffet options are numerous. We ordered a la carte lunch & dinner, and the food was always exceptional. (Note, the first night we wanted something that they didn’t have but they ordered it for the second night.) The room was ok, but all rooms come with a comfortable balcony to make up for what the room lacks. Also, the bathroom is about the same size as the room. The beach and the ocean are by far the main reason to come here. The warm ocean water is unparalleled and the hotel staff do a wonderful job keeping their section of the beach clean. The pool area is also nice, but we came for the beach and spent most of our time there. The kid space is lacking, but that’s ok as long as you aren’t there when it rains. Lastly, all the staff we encountered were professional. They helped arrange our departure taxi which actually was rather reasonably priced; meaning same price everyone seems to charge tourists 200 rupees per kilometer (rather than what locals pay which is like 120-150). Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time at Giman free beach resort. Hidden and very exclusive place, with astonishing location directly on the beach. Beautiful architecture, nature friendly and super comfortable. Wide range of fresh food at breakfast, delicious dinners and enchanting atmosphere at night. Super nice service.

A splendid outdoor pool resides between the beach and Amaya Beach Passikudah, a resort offering spacious rooms and suites with private balconies and free WiFi. Amazing view and a perfect location. The place is nice, calm, and offers great facilities. Truly worth the money and highly recommended!

We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the surroundings. We stayed in a well equipped tree bungalow just a few meters from the lagoon. Loved walking on wood. The food was really tasty and it was really nice being able to sit outside the bar as it was really ”cool off- season days”. The staff was really hospitable and welcoming. Good location within walking distance to ”everything”. We walked everywhere around Batti.
