You enter the beach through the pine trees. The gentleman and lady who own the place are very friendly. They chatted with us well and looked after our needs. The staff are also very helpful. The food is very tasty.

Absolutely stunning property with a beautiful beachside location, the outside shower areas are fabulous .Staff are amazingly caring, the food is also delicious. Felt like royalty! People of Sri Lanka are warm and friendly. Local diving in Kalpitiya is a must. Hired a tuk tuk for a true Sri Lankan experience. Wildlife at the house is truly incredible, so many birds and other creatures.Thank you Sisira, Indrani and Rokshan! The driver Serangha is caring polite and amazing too! 100% recommended.

We are thrilled to announce that Bar Reef Resort will officially reopen its doors on 01st December 2025! We loved how beautifully designed the resort was, using natural local materials throughout. Our hut was lovely and the outdoor bathroom was very special. All the staff were extremely helpful and caring. The salt pool, sea view, and beach sunsets made our stay very special. Food was generally ok/good but the evening curry’s were delicious!

Stretching over 22 acres along Sri Lanka's north-west coast, Club Palm Bay is located between Marawila Lagoon and Marawila Beach. It boasts a 9-hole golf course and an outdoor pool. Great ambience and very good value for money. The rooms are spacious, the pool is nice, and beach access is convenient. Kid friendly. The massage centre is a good addition. The best part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff, especially Mindula who gave excellent service. Highly recommended.
