Newly built (Dec 2024) and well maintained. There are 3 houses, each containing 2 rooms, so 6 rooms in total. Very friendly and welcoming staff, walking distance to Nilaveli beach (700 m), clean and spacious rooms with high ceiling, wonderful food.

Located within 100 metres of Uppuveli beach and 4.3 km of Kanniya Hot Springs in Trincomalee, Lobster Inn offers accommodation with seating area. The garden was very nice and the room was clean. The owner was very welcoming and kind to us. He also helped us book activities and tuk tuks.

What’s not to like.. amazing location with literally a private beach to ourselves as there are no other resorts nearby, incredible bungalow right on the beach front, a nice and clean swimming pool overlooking the beach, good quality, food, and excellent value, and very friendly staff all across the property

I had a wonderful stay at Paul’s place in Trincomalee. Communication was very effective and fast—Paul was always available to answer questions and provide helpful tips, which made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh, local ingredients and generous portions that really gave a taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. The location was ideal—just a short 2-minute walk from the beach, making it perfect for morning swims or sunset strolls. The surrounding area was peaceful yet close enough to restaurants and small shops for convenience. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. It struck a lovely balance between simplicity and charm, making it a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring. Set within 600 metres of Nilaveli Beach and 4 km of Pigeon Island National Park in Nilaveli, Pranu House features accommodation with seating area. A peaceful, warm, and affordable stay – highly recommended! The stay was safe, incredibly affordable, and most importantly, stress-free. I felt completely at ease and well cared for during my time there. If you’re looking for a peaceful and meaningful stay near the beach in Nilaveli, I can’t recommend Pranu Guest House enough! I had a truly memorable experience staying at Pranu Guest House in Nilaveli, hosted by Rajan and his wonderful wife. Rajan is one of the most humble and kind-hearted people I’ve met. He takes the time to sit with you, help plan your day or holiday, and is always quick to assist — whether it’s calling a cab, connecting you to a currency exchange person, or even offering a small medical first aid kit, which came in handy when I needed help for a minor cut. He’s not only a great host but also someone who genuinely cares about the environment — he spends his free time contributing to ocean cleanup efforts, which is truly inspiring. His wife is equally lovely and makes delicious, healthy breakfasts that are far better than anything you’ll find in a restaurant — homemade with love, and a perfect way to start the day. The room is very clean & bed is comfort to sleep. The owner is really helpful .He shared more travel tips for us to travel around the city. Near to beach & resto. Worth for money. Really enjoyed the stay.
