In a prime location in the centre of Morelia, HOTEL & SPA MANSION SOLIS by HOTSSON provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Very comfortable, clean, safe and the staff was absolutely lovely. It is a bit pricey when it comes to having breakfast there but it’s worth it! Just be prepared. Gorgeous view of Morelia from the balcony.

Hotel Casa Iturbe has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Zitácuaro. The accommodation offers room service and a 24-hour front desk for guests. The staff was very friendly. I also liked the architecture of the hotel. The plants (especially the cactus) in the common area were gorgeous. The hotel was in a residential area, away from traffic, and I appreciated the silence.

The out side it's a little bit confusing because of the big walls. Once you get into the place it's very pretty and relaxing.

The bed was very comfortable and the food was great. All hotel staff were attentive and Ivan made the most delicious Vampiro drinks! The house is located on los Arcos avenue so I assumed we would hear some traffic in the AM but we did NOT. The walls must be super thick with adobe or cantera because we slept soundly even though we were near the front on the Arcos avenida side. There was a private event in the large terraza one of the days we stayed and you could hear party noise until about 12PM. The terrazas are mostly for private events and are great for celebrating special events.

Villa Montaña is situated on a hilltop overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Morelia. Guests can relax in the property’s beautiful gardens or by the outdoor pool. Beautiful older secure property that is spread out nicely. Large rooms with brick domed ceiling. Lots of cantera statues and hand laid brick all over property. Excellent views of historic downtown. From our room, we were fortunate enough to see fireworks at the Cathedral Saturday night at 9pm. Sunday brunch had an excellent layout.
