WestCord Strandhotel Seeduyn is located in a quiet setting right near the beach. Enjoy wonderful views on the North Sea and have fun in the pools or on the bowling lane. The hotel is located right on the sand dunes facing both the beach and the forest behind. Facilities including the rooms are recently updated. There are still some indications that this hotel has been here for a long time entertaining beachside holiday makers, but that in my opinion adds to its charm. Staff were very friendly. Pool and wellness areas were very nice additions especially on a rainy winters day. The sauna's were really large, with plenty of room to soak up the heat.

Badhotel Bruin, nestled between the dunes and the mudflats on Vlieland, offers Boutique-style rooms with private bathrooms. This hotel dates from 1896 and features free WiFi throughout the property. Great central location, very friendly staff. It was very quiet when we stayed so breakfast was specially prepared for us which was lovely. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. And the hotel is very dog friendly, first time that any accommodation I stayed in provided a proper dog bed.
