I imagine the swimming pool is nice in summer too, although it obviously wasn't available in the winter. The bathroom and shower were also very clean and modern. Good parking options and an easy drive into town and beyond.

Offering affordable tickets to an indoor water park and spa/wellness centre, Hotell Fritidsparken is located in Skien Leisure Park, 3 km from central Skien. The location was stunning, the staff were really attentive and friendly. I had dietary requirements and it was played dinners rather than all buffet service, they had prepared a meal especially for me which was delicious. The room was tidy if basic but considering the price I was very happy.
