Mint Hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi in Arequipa, only a 5-minute drive from the city main square. A daily a la carte breakfast is offered. Very clean, comfortable room in a good location. Breakfast and dinner excellent.

Personally as for authenticity (the Peruvian cuisine restauran) and facilities (hot springs bath directly on the property plus the hotel's own alpaca ranch and museum) and even more so price (far more affordable than the other two), the Colca Lodge is my hands-on favorite choice in the Colca Valley.

Great stay at Killawasi, very comfortable and clean. Jose was always helpful. A lovely place to switch off for a few days.

Located in the traditional neighbourhood of Yanahuara in Arequipa, Posada Nueva España offers accommodation in a colonial house from 1810, only a 5-minute walk from the city centre on a traditional... The room was amazing, massive bed, bathroom with “actual hot water” (sorry Peru but I get told all the time there is hot water and their ain’t). The management team and Brecky crew are lovely.

Las Casitas, A Belmond Hotel, Colca Canyon features luxurious cottage-style villas with private fire place and free WiFi. Beautiful hotel in a dreamy setting. Food was incredible, the spa was the best I’ve been to, all staff members super helpful and nice. A fee complimentary activities such as pisco sour lesson and feeding alpacas were great to have. The size of the room, the cleanliness and attention to detail top notch!

Set in a renovated Colonial house with a charming courtyard decorated with tile work and a small fountain, the inn offers rooms with free WiFi just a 5-minute walk from Arequipa’s main square. Extraordinary hotel. Beautifully designed. Incredibly comfortable. Excellent service.
