The Funny Lion - El Nido has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and restaurant in El Nido. The staff are incredibly attentive and certainly go above and beyond! Every time you enter or exit the hotel, all the staff know you by name and are so welcoming. Nilo, the hotel’s manager, personally took us on a run around Lio Beach with some of the team. Val and Cjay were standing-out staff for us and catered for our every need. The hotel is ideally located a short walk away from the centre of El Nido - close enough for a 5 minute walk but far enough to be away from the noise in the evening. The hotel is superbly maintained and the rooms are spacious and modern. There is also a decent gym over the road as a part of the hotel that had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Facing the beachfront, EL RIO Y MAR RESORT offers 3-star accommodation in Coron and has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and private beach area. The accommodation and activities were amazing! Like a private island with water and snorkeling at your door step. We also loved the floating massage, getting to look down at the fish and coral while being massaged was incredible. Food was delicious and reasonable priced. WiFi worked great. Staff very friendly

Truly special place with amazing hospitality and authenticity! We had a wonderful four-day stay in this authentic and peaceful retreat. This was our first location visit in Philippines. If you’re looking for a quiet, remote spot surrounded by nature — this is the perfect choice. The hospitality was exceptional, and the whole place felt warm and welcoming, especially the people of the near by village. The on-site restaurant offers delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the complimentary kayaks are a lovely bonus — perfect for exploring the coastline and taking in the stunning views. This was the ideal place to unwind before heading to more active destinations. Highly recommend to anyone seeking beauty, calm, and a genuine connection with nature.

Set in Busuanga, within 42 km of Maquinit Hot Spring and 37 km of Mount Tapyas, AL FARO Cosmio Hotel Palawan features accommodation with a bar. Wow! Where to even start. Mind blowing views, gorgeous pool area. Best sunset view ever. Rooms facing the sea. Everything was cozy and clean. The food was delicious and affordable, massive selection! Free kayak rental to explore the bay. A lot of reviews refer to the steps to reach the top of the hill where the resort is located, it's really not an issue. Very easy to access (takes no longer than 2 min) and the view is worth it! Staff professional and everything so well coordinated. We will be back!
