A special thank you to Maya and Paula, who welcomed us so warmly every morning and prepared the best pancakes we have ever had. The welcome from Luis was a true delight – so friendly and genuine. Célia and Marta impressed us with their attention to detail and the way they served us so beautifully at the table. Marta, the pastry chef, amazed us with the best handmade desserts we have ever tasted. And of course, we cannot forget Ruben, the chef, who with so much love and care prepared for us an incredible variety of delicious dishes. We were delighted! Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! It’s very close to the village, which makes it easy to shop and have dinner at restaurants. Very safe and entertaining for kids to play around free.

The Staff are awesome. There was no fridge in the room. But I soon found out they run an honesty drinks supply from the kitchen Beer soft drinks wine and even spirts all you do is record what you take. It like Ben at home. If you are in this area you need to stay here
