Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. Never have had a more luxurious stay and experience in the hotel. The infinity pools with a view straight on Douro River and valley are just breathtaking. The staff is super helpful and authentically friendly. Super looking forward to my next stay in one of the Octant hotels! There will definitely be a next time!

It was clean, comfortable, the staff were very helpful, and welcoming! We had beautiful breakfast in the mornings, and couple of dinners in their restaurant.

What a beautiful quinta with a pretty spectacular view! The house is so tastefully decorated. Amazingly comfortable rooms. The meals were exceptional - we had dinner and breakfast. We were well taken care of by the owner's daughter-in-law. Don't think... just book it! We loved it!

Situated in Tabosa, 46 km from Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary and 50 km from Mangualde Live Artificial Beach, Casas de Campo da Barroca features accommodation with free WiFi, a garden, mountain views,... This pace is beautiful. It is very peaceful, the staff are attentive. The beds were super comfortable. There is everything in the kitchen you need to create a lovely meal. This was very welcome after weeks of travelling I enjoyed being able to prepare delicious food for my family.

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool, Rio Moment's is set in Castelo de Paiva in the Norte Region, 34 km from Porto. Guimarães is 46 km away. There's really nothing to complain about and the staff (especially Ana and Sarah) are definitely going all the way to make you enjoy your stay. We joined a local wine maker and her team harvesting the grapes and we enjoyed every bit of it. Doing the grape stomping at the end of the day was another enjoyable experience. No commercial tour can beat this, all thanks to the local staff who helped making arrangements. The hotel provides a good breakfast with wonderful views and offers 2 choices for dinner all at a reasonable price.

Located in Baião, in a historic building, 35 km from Douro Museum, Lavandeira Douro Nature & Wellness is a farm stay with pool with a view and fitness centre. An amazing property set in the Portuguese vineyard with brand new facilities and an amazing staff. The Brandas bungalows are fantastic and secluded for those looking for peace and quiet, the Elmo restaurant is a great value for money offering authentic portuguese cuisine and their own Lavandeira wine is also top quality. Picnic in nature can also be organised by the staff, guests can rent electric bikes, etc.
