Helena & Ricardo have painstakingly restored and renovated the property into something rare and special where modern amenities and comfort meet the beauty of a working farm and vineyard. Their kindness and attention to customer service is world class, and is matched by their knowledge of the history of the area and willingness to share the stories of their journey to create their dream. While my partner and I were there, we enjoyed morning hikes through the vineyards, daily trips to regional towns, afternoon dips in the indoor salt water spa pool, and evening dinners where our hosts and staff provided upscale-rustic regional cuisine, local wines and port, and wonderful conversation with both hosts and guests. This will be somewhere we will hopefully be able to revisit in the coming years as it truly is one of our favourites of all time!

This pace is beautiful. It is very peaceful, the staff are attentive. The beds were super comfortable. There is everything in the kitchen you need to create a lovely meal. This was very welcome after weeks of travelling I enjoyed being able to prepare delicious food for my family.

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool, Rio Moment's is set in Castelo de Paiva in the Norte Region, 34 km from Porto. Guimarães is 46 km away. There's really nothing to complain about and the staff (especially Ana and Sarah) are definitely going all the way to make you enjoy your stay. We joined a local wine maker and her team harvesting the grapes and we enjoyed every bit of it. Doing the grape stomping at the end of the day was another enjoyable experience. No commercial tour can beat this, all thanks to the local staff who helped making arrangements. The hotel provides a good breakfast with wonderful views and offers 2 choices for dinner all at a reasonable price.

Every detail was thought out for the most luxurious stay and it was full of surprises! I was so excited to stay but so surprised when we arrived by how incredible it was. I never wanted to leave. The staff made you feel right at home and I was so relaxed. We had s private wine tasting on the veranda by the vine leaves which I think was the highlight of my trip around Portugal 🥰 thank you a million times. Not to mention the architecture of the rooms, I could go on
