All the staff were outstanding in helping with our trip to this marvelous location in such a serene area of Portugal. My only regret is we did not arrange to stay in the hotel longer. Super help from our server for supper. John our server not only made our evening feel very special but he also made some wonderful suggestions for the rest of our trip including somewhere to find some cheese that we enjoyed with our supper. We both found the cod main course splendid. Your staff made this short stay for us feeling relaxed and ready to continue our journey.

Amazing place in a beautiful setting with super helpful staff who clearly take pride in this wonderful experience. Pools are lovely and relaxing with lots of different areas of bubbles / jets / saunas/ steam room etc. rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Food is amazing with lots of choices ( we are vegetarian) and the even the breakfast coffee tastes lovely! ( unusual!)

Die Unterkunft Casa de São Lourenço - Burel Panorama Hotel - member of Relais & Châteaux, die in Manteigas, 25 km von Naturpark Serra da Estrela entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über... I wanted to visit this hotel ever since I saw it on Design Hotels and on Instagram, so I booked a specific room and we traveled from Lisbon for it. Check-in was seamless and even though the room I wanted wasn’t available at first, the staff were very professional, patient and polite. They showed me the room and even offered to have it cleaned quickly so we could take it. However, another equivalent mirror room turned out to be one I liked even more, so we stayed with the initially allocated room. Excellent service from breakfast to dinner in their restaurant. I had expected less because I saw some feedback on Booking about portion sizes, but everything exceeded expectations: food was great, portions were not small at all and again the staff were very helpful, attentive and caring without ever being intrusive. We didn’t try the spa or the swimming pool, but those also looked great. The fireplaces throughout the hotel have a cozy, wooden smell. Breakfast had a great selection, including a separate à-la-carte menu. I especially liked the baked apples with cinnamon. And of course, the room I booked was beautifully designed, exactly what I hoped to see, with a very comfortable bed, crisp bedsheets, a balcony view, concrete walls and a glass wall. The weather was quite cold and the staff immediately turned the heater up, even brought an additional one without hesitation. To conclude, the only regret is that we didn’t stay longer because we had a flight back. I will definitely return if I’m in the area again. Thank you for your service.

The staff facility care food amenities were all exceptional It's such a pleasure to rate this extraordinary place where we stayed for 3 nights . The room itself was immaculate and super comfortable. The facilities is in great standard, very well equipped and pleasant I had a back injury and hence was stranded in the room , the owner Maria-Manuel has personally taken me to the hospital and took great care of me during the process including  helping me get medications, and the staff bringing food to the room and taking care of all our needs in a very gentle kind and friendly manner. Later when we looked for an easily  accessible shower the owner upgraded us to a suite that has an accessible shower. I couldn't  even dream of such a caring and compassionate service🏆 The staff was super accommodating and friendly and the rest of the amenities were gorgeous In spite of our circumstances we genuinely enjoyed this hotel's extraordinary hospitality and warmth. 🥂 Thank you !
