All the staff were outstanding in helping with our trip to this marvelous location in such a serene area of Portugal. My only regret is we did not arrange to stay in the hotel longer. Super help from our server for supper. John our server not only made our evening feel very special but he also made some wonderful suggestions for the rest of our trip including somewhere to find some cheese that we enjoyed with our supper. We both found the cod main course splendid. Your staff made this short stay for us feeling relaxed and ready to continue our journey.

I Folgosinho, 42 kilometer fra Mangualde Live kunstige strand, ligger Estrela Serenity - Mountain Resort, som har et sesongåpent utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, et treningsstudio og en hage.... This is hidden Gem, Way better then expected. Sadly it is quite far from everything, but it does not matter as you have all the things you need!

It was an amazing stay in the mountains. We regret that we booked only one night. The restaurant is incredibly tasty and the view is marvelous. Every particular detail is super beautiful and comfortable. The simple aesthetics are everywhere, and the staff are super nice and helpfull.

I Seia, 29 kilometer fra Serra da Estrela naturpark, ligger Casas Da Lapa, Nature & Spa Hotel, som har gratis sykler, gratis privat parkering, et sesongåpent utendørsbasseng og en hage. This is an exceptional, comfortable, relaxing property with the highest quality staff, service and food. it is a wonderful location for walking and relaxing. Although only fifteen rooms, there are three pools, booked for private use. Breakfast is excellent and must not be missed, served as late as you like. There is a great choice of food for lunch, you should have it in the terrace. Dinner in the dining room is leisurely, with different wine with each course. The library nook for reading is wonderful. This hotel is worth a detour. we will certainly return.

Found this place somewhat randomly and spent 3 night in their basic rooms, with the deck. The architecture, interior design, food, and most importantly service were impeccable and very high value for the money we spent. Especially the staff.. they went above an beyond to make sure you felt welcome and pampered. Great location if you want to spend a bit of time away and up in the mountains (hills) of Portugal. Highly recommended. p.s. We did make a stop for dinner at the higher rated (5 star) hotel owned by the same group. This location compared to that felt nicer. Both the interior design and people felt a lot warmer here.

Lusitânia Hotel offers rooms with private balconies, just 10 minutes by car from Guarda’s historic city centre. It offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools and an extensive spa area. Great breakfast had ample parking staff at restaurant were very nice
