The staff facility care food amenities were all exceptional It's such a pleasure to rate this extraordinary place where we stayed for 3 nights . The room itself was immaculate and super comfortable. The facilities is in great standard, very well equipped and pleasant I had a back injury and hence was stranded in the room , the owner Maria-Manuel has personally taken me to the hospital and took great care of me during the process including  helping me get medications, and the staff bringing food to the room and taking care of all our needs in a very gentle kind and friendly manner. Later when we looked for an easily  accessible shower the owner upgraded us to a suite that has an accessible shower. I couldn't  even dream of such a caring and compassionate service🏆 The staff was super accommodating and friendly and the rest of the amenities were gorgeous In spite of our circumstances we genuinely enjoyed this hotel's extraordinary hospitality and warmth. 🥂 Thank you !

Obiekt Casa das Penhas Douradas - Burel Expedition Hotel jest położony w górskim parku przyrody Serra da Estrela. Ten designerski hotel oferuje pokoje z telewizorem LCD i widokiem na góry. Found this place somewhat randomly and spent 3 night in their basic rooms, with the deck. The architecture, interior design, food, and most importantly service were impeccable and very high value for the money we spent. Especially the staff.. they went above an beyond to make sure you felt welcome and pampered. Great location if you want to spend a bit of time away and up in the mountains (hills) of Portugal. Highly recommended. p.s. We did make a stop for dinner at the higher rated (5 star) hotel owned by the same group. This location compared to that felt nicer. Both the interior design and people felt a lot warmer here.
