This was our second time visiting this hotel and we would surely be back again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean and neat. Maria at the spa is wonderful and I highly recommend getting a massage with her! Both pools are clean and well maintained and the kids pool is big enough for parents to stay comfortably with their little ones. The breakfast buffet is great with plenty of options and even the a la carte menu at the restaurant is very good. If you're looking for a place that has it all, for peace even when it's fully booked, then this is it. We will be back.

Surrounded by the Zavoi Park, 300 metres from the centre of Ramnicu Valcea, Grand Hotel Sofianu hosts an art museum with works of 500 representative Romanian plastic artists. Great location, the art details are impressive (stairs, paintings), the room is large and comfy, the view to the park is great.

Definitely we'll stay at the hotel CASCADA again on our next visit to our favourite Baile Olanesti! We even stayed for a few more days because we really didn't want to leave!
