Great location and surrounding areas - a quick walk to the lake, kiosk, coffee place, beautiful walking trails (full of berries in August!), boat rental, rope park.... [we were there in August, can't say what happens when it gets colder] Pretty interior with a sitting area/couches and fire place next to the bar. Bar tenders were efficient. Wonderful b-fast. Basic rooms. Okay WIFI. Quick check in and check out.

Only 150 metres from Gävle’s main square, Stortorget, this central hotell offers free WiFi and rooms with flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. Gävle Central Station is 10 minutes’ walk away. arrived late but the member of staff was exceptionally helpful. Got us checked in quickly and due to us having to leave early the next day even pre-made us breakfast for our 6am checkout which was before breakfast started at 7am.
