Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. Large resort but it was very peaceful. Unless you have transport, you can’t easily get anywhere else but it wasn’t a problem for us as we’d already spent 3 days sightseeing in the area. There’s a 7 eleven in walking distance!

River Kwai Hotel is located in Kanchanaburi, a 10-minute drive from the famous River Kwai Bridge. The rooms are clean. Staff are friendly, allowed us to take breakfast before 6AM since we have to catch the train to Bangkok at 7AM. They are prepared earlier than the allowed time.
