The grounds, the buildings and the pool area are beautiful, built with n the colonial Style. We felt transported to a different era. The staff are professional & provided excellent service. The multinational breakfast was delicious, the choices ample and the setting beautiful. The dinner restaurant floats with n the River Kwae and includes a variety of Thai cuisines fresh m different regions with in Thailand

Royal Resort and Spa is a beautiful hotel located along the banks of River Kwai. It features spacious accommodation with private balconies and the luxury of an outdoor pool. Stayed for New Years Eve. Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. Large resort but it was very peaceful. Unless you have transport, you can’t easily get anywhere else but it wasn’t a problem for us as we’d already spent 3 days sightseeing in the area. There’s a 7 eleven in walking distance!
