The hotel is more beautiful that it looks in the pictures. Things like the spa and restaurant are not represented in the online pictures of the resort - which is too bad. The pool area is also very nice.

Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en helpt met een glimlach. Het ontbijt zeer uitgebreid en gevarieerd. Er is iedere dag verse sinaasappelsap. Toen wij naar het buitenzwembas wilden werden er bedjes en een parasol gebracht. De bedden en douche zijn heel comfortabel. De auto mocht onder een afdak in de schaduw staan. Het uitzicht vanuit de kamer was heel mooi.

Nuevo Hotel Beltran ligt in Colonia del Sacramento, op 3 minuten lopen van Playa urbana del Rowing, en biedt conciërgediensten, rookvrije kamers, een tuin, gratis WiFi en een gedeelde lounge. Breakfast was good, standard pastries/fruit/meat/cheese/juice/coffee/tea. Room was cute and quiet. AC worked well. It is an old hotel so things are old.. and that is part of the charm. The bathroom shower and sink and toilet are modern. The staff were helpful. The hotel is right next to/connected to Archie's restaurant which was excellent for 'fast food' type meals - very good atmosphere and reasonable prices and tasty dishes and good portions. Good value for the money. Convenient location about under 1 km walk from the ferry terminal. (there are not very many taxis available from the ferry terminal or bus station so be prepared to walk with your luggage to the hotel if you have not rented a car or been lucky to find a taxi). Room on 2nd floor seemed secure.
