Situated within the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg World Heritage Site, this 4-star hotel is surrounded by gardens and overlooks the Drakenberg Mountains. Food was unbelievable. The room very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.

Our Dragonview was fantastic. We had an amazing holiday. The service from the management team and all the staff was workd-class. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The menu has good variety. The view is absolutely magnificent. The layout of the hotel is great. The entertainment for the kids is more than sufficient, between a rock pool, indoor pool, foosball table arcade, and PlayStation for the older kids and a very creative and fun playground area for smaller kids. You cannot go wrong booking at this hotel.

Set in the heart of the Northern Drakensberg, Cavern Resort & Spa provides family-friendly accommodation located 65 km from Harrismith and 48 km from Bergville. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. What a perfect vacation. The other guests were friendly and the whole atmosphere is like a family. Would 100% go back and bring friends and family.

An absolut gem! Montusi is literally a little paradies! The lodges are super clean and nicely equipped, the grounds are very well maintained. Food was delicious and the staff very friendly. We would highly recommend staying at Montusi when you visit the Drakensberge!

A shout out to Tanya for catering to my diet needs. Totally appreciated this.

Suggest that option for longer stays. - Fire in my room during turndown service - The food was fantastic - I loved the views and time on the deck with a cup of coffee was just what the dr ordered - Tumi, the cat was adorable - The housekeepers are thorough and they even put my pjs in my bed so electric blanket would warm them! - Spa treatments with Buhle was relaxing and highlight of my afternoon - The owner (Mouse) took some time to catch up and listened to my feedback - Amen, the gardener was so friendly and always made time for a hello and chat.

The location and views of the mountain is simply unbeatable. The home is spacious and very comfortable. We booked for 5 nights and were delighted to hear we could extend our stay for another 2 nights. The kitchen has everything you need for self-catering, we felt right at home. The hiking trails start literally a few steps from the the front door. Kevin from time to time checked up via what's app to ask if we need anything. Highly recommended.
