Julia at reception was equally attentive and efficient. The attention to detail and level of personal service were remarkable. Our room, complete with a stunning view and private jacuzzi, was pure indulgence. The restaurant offered excellent cuisine with a wonderful variety, complemented by a substantial wine list. Just 40 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg, you are transported to a serene gem in nature—perfectly disconnected from the outside world. Thanks a lot.

Het Sunrock Guesthouse biedt een gratis pendeldienst van/naar de internationale luchthaven OR Tambo, een barbecueplaats en entertainmentruimte, een bar met drankvergunning en een buitenzwembad. It’s about 10 minutes’ drive from the airport. The free shuttle to and from the airport saves me a lot of trouble. Another reason that keeps me coming back is their dinner buffet. It’s tasty and i can tell they put a lot of heart into it. If you go to the bar before dinner time, you can even see them grilling the steak. The buffet is something that you cannot miss. The rooms are situated in a beautiful garden. I enjoy myself very much just sitting by the pool. In the whole property, the wifi works well and the staff are friendly. I had a super early flight the first time i was in the guesthouse. The staff were so friendly that they packed the breakfast for me.

The staff! Receptionists, cooks and waiters were all absolutely amazing! I forgot my phone and they made sure I got it back safely Food was super tasty and beautifully presented. Spacious and lush rooms, loved the bathtub. Also loved the 2 turtles in the garden:)

The facilities were lovely , and the staff was out of this world, from the driver who picked us up at Nirox gate 3, to the farmhouse, to Nkateko who welcomed us and the sticks who took us to the waterfall and showed us around. In sum, it’s a great place to relax and connect with your friend/ partner , I’m even considering going back by myself.

Prachtige ruime kamers op een hele mooie lokatie, met prachtige tuin. We zijn maar 1 nacht gebleven, maar het personeel was erg vriendelijl. Het hotel had vervoer van het vliegveld geregeld (15-20 min) en we kwamen laat aan, maar de kamers waren netjes verlicht en de volgende ochtend hebben we heerlijk ontbeten. Op het terrein staat een groot schaakspel, kun je stukje wandelen en staat er zelfs een kerk op het terrein.
