The location was a surprise when we pulled up as you dont expect the beautiful settings there, we were so close to the river 😊 the room was very clean and inviting and had everything you needed for a few days. And so quiet 🤫 Wish we could have stayed longer x

With stunning views of the valley and 3 acres of private grounds, this traditional Georgian country house has a delightful village setting, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Originally founded during the reign of King James I, the Limpley Stoke Hotel today offers individually designed en suite rooms, well equipped with modern comforts and facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and many of the rooms have magnificent views over the valley.

The surrounding region was spectacular and the staff was very polite and friendly. It was easy to find and it had a spacious parking space. It's close to Bath with a car and the drive there is far better than anything I expected in England

Our host, Toni, was absolutely lovely & very friendly. Room was immaculate & comfortable. Location was great, just a short stroll into the City centre. Breakfast was really tasty with lots of choice - everything cooked fresh to order. The added bonus of a sweet treat left in our room each day was very well received! :o)

Beautiful boutique hotel in a Georgian building, that is very well kept. They added all these nice touches with the music playing from the radio in the room and being able to play records from the record player in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. The location is just next to the Pulteney bridge, but it’s just outside of the main city centre, so it’s a little quieter.

The room was larger that I'd expected for a budget hotel/ I appreciated the small sofa and the desk,as I enjoy writing if I have some spare time. The hotel was only a ten/ fifteen minute walk to the City Centre.
