Location was easy walking distance to the port and supermarket. Lovely breakfast included at nearby cafe, who also provided a take away breakfast for part of our group who headed off early the catch the ferry to the Isole Eolie.

We probably had an upgrade as the room was much bigger than I expected, with a little separate kitchen. The position was great for using the public transport. All the staff there were very friendly and helpful. There is a fantastic bread shop just around the corner which also did pizza and hot dishes at lunchtime, calle 'Non solo pane', I can't recommend it highly enough? If/when we return to Messina, we would happily stay there.

Hotel Medici is perfectly located in the heart of Milazzo’s old town, just a short walk from the port. Set in a beautiful historic building, it offers clean and comfortable rooms that make for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were consistently warm and welcoming. A great choice for both convenience and charm.

Hotel Garibaldi is set on the seafront of the characteristic fishing town of Milazzo, overlooking the Eolian Islands. It features elegant guest rooms and spectacular views.

Great location opposite the port as we needed to travel the next morning to island. Can tell it had been renovated and most furnishings were new. Staff were great, attended to all my questions pre arrival and during our stay and at breakfast
