See- und Seminarhotel FloraAlpina enjoys an idyllic location at the shores of Lake Lucerne, outside the village of Vitznau. This property exceeds our expectations! It was listed as a 3-star hotel, but service is definitely 4-star! + Services: We stayed there during NYE with our dogs (frenchie & bichon) to get away from the fireworks. Although the reception was already closed when we arrived late at 9:30PM, but the restaurant staff helped us to check-in. Dogs were allowed in the restaurant, breakfast was good, and NYE dinner at the restaurant was lovely. Overall, a very dog-friendly hotel! + Room: The in-room temperature was very comfortable, food bowls and blankets were placed in the room for our dogs, bed and pillows were very comfortable! + Parking and outdoors: Free parking onsite, and plenty of outdoor/grass areas for our dogs to run around.

Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. Staying here was truly a memorable experience, made even better by the outstanding staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. I was in Lucerne to compete in the Swiss City Marathon, and they graciously prepared an early breakfast to fit my race schedule. Edith at reception was incredibly thoughtful, taking time to calm my nerves and ensuring I had everything I needed for the big day. It was the kind of personal touch that’s rare to find and so appreciated. The hotel’s onsite restaurant and Bistro were constantly buzzing with patrons, a clear indication of their popularity. Although we didn’t get a chance to dine in this time, we’ll definitely be trying them on our next visit. With service and atmosphere this exceptional, we wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Lucerne!

Located 4 km outside of Lucerne’s town centre, the Felmis offers a restaurant with 2 terraces, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Lake Lucerne is just a 20-minute walk away. Super friendly staff who really made an extra effort, even if we only stayed for one night. Clean, comfortable room, nice big terrace for dinner, EV charging point reserved for us. Nice location for walks.

Located at the summit of Mount Pilatus at 2,132 metres above sea level, the Hotel Bellevue is reachable by aerial tramway or the world's steepest cog railway in summer. Everything. The atmosphere and vibes were amazing.

My stay at SeeHotel Gotthard was wonderful. The lake view is simply stunning, the staff are friendly and professional, and the rooms are clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious and varied. We will definitely stay here again!

My stay at Lucerne Apartments Mount Pilatus was truly unforgettable. The apartment felt like a home away from home, with its peaceful surroundings and stunning views of Mount Pilatus. However, what truly made the experience special was the amazing host, Olaf, who showered us with kindness and genuine hospitality. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to spend quality time together preparing meals and enjoying the space. While the location is away from the old town, it is conveniently close to the Pilatus Bahn, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, this was the best stay of my holiday and I highly recommend Lucerne Apartments Mount Pilatus to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable accommodation in Lucerne.

Situated in Menzberg, 34 km from Lucerne Station, Landgasthof Hotel Menzberg features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The location of the property was idyllic. It’s a good place to recharge your battery and feel like you’re visiting your Swiss family’s hotel. The hotel felt cozy from the very beginning. It is not very modern but it’s warm and very well maintained. The staff is very kind and helpful and speaking English. The breakfast was very diverse and delicious. In the region there are some hikes you can do and a view point. Many people are actually living there so it’s really quiet and pretty.
