The location, in a middle of everything, so close to everything. The coop supermarket is in the same building, so you can buy stuffs wearing t shirts! Thomas, the owner, he’s so nice! The room is super spacious and what a view! And you can park (and charge your car if you need) in a garage, so you don’t have to worries about the snow in your car, only be grateful for big amounts of snow! We’ll definitely comeback to Alpenhotel! And I can’t forget to mention, breakfast is really great, delicious…

Situated 5.3 km from Source of the Rhine River - Lake Thoma and offering a garden, Ferienwohnung Troegligasse offers accommodation in Andermatt. what a gem of an apartment in Andermatt! The location was so convenient - perfectly situated within a short walk of the both ski gondolas, the grocery store, restaurants, the train station - everything was within walking distance. The views were jaw dropping and the the apartment struck an excellent balance between authentically Swiss and modern. The apartment was spacious, the bed was comfy, the kitchen was well appointed, there was a heated gear room for our ski things and we had everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home away from home. Most notably though, Renate was an exceptional host- incredibly kind, accommodating, thoughtful and communicative- one of the best experiences we’ve had with a host in all of our many travels! Would stay here again in a heartbeat, and would highly recommend to other travelers!

Set in Seelisberg, 34 km from Lucerne Station, Hotel und Naturhaus Bellevue offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. There is a public balcony viewpoint approx 700m from the hotel, but the room balcony offered same view all the time. Amazing.

Sonne Andermatt Swiss Quality Hotel features a restaurant serving Swiss and international dishes in the centre of Andermatt. The location is just perfect, close to the train station and to both cable lines and still in the heart of the city. The staff is great and super nice, room was wonderful with such a great view, warmth, cozy, and silent despite the position. Breakfast had everything we could wished for.

This eco-friendly design hotel in Andermatt is just 500 metres from the Gemsstock Cable Car and the Nätschen Ski Lift. The 300 year old building has been renovated and converted into a very charming and comfy hotel. The rooms retain the old stone and wood feel and look but are modern with look insulation, no creaking etc. We loved the view out of the window. The people are excellent too. They took care of all of our demands , with a smile. The hot breakfast dishes were prepared on order and were excellent. It was a memorable stay.

Dating from the 18th century, Hotel Goldener Schlüssel is located in the Old Town of Altdorf in the Canton of Uri. Lake Lucerne is a 10-minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. I loved that the husband helped me shovel snow to get my car out.

Vain 3 km:n päässä Lucerne-järveltä sijaitseva Hotel Höfli toimii vuodelta 1768 peräisin olevassa Altdorfin vanhimmassa rakennuksessa. We had a terrible tragedy while traveling and had to come to this hotel after my father passed. This hotel was so accommodating and nice. Would highly recommend!
